All you need to know about Nolvadex: A Guide to Steroids

Nolvadex is the trade name for drug tamoxifen citrate which is an antagonist for estrogen that is used as a first line of clinical defense against carcinomas of breast. Nolvadex is somewhat different from other products since it is not an anabolic/androgenic steroid.
Mode of Action:
The drug is technically an estrogen agonist/antagonist, which competitively binds to estrogen receptors in various target tissues. It is, however, important to understand that Nolvadex does not prevent testosterone and its synthetic derivatives, so called anabolic steroids, from converting into estrogens but only fights with them in a sort of “competition” for the estrogen receptors and prevents the downstream signaling pathways initiated by estrogen.

In an ideal world, hot flashes would only occur when you’re alone and naked in a cold shower.Hot flashes are often the precursor which alerts you to a major bodily upheaval - the menopause, or the cessation of the menstrual cycle. It’s an oxymoron to use the article “the” to identify it –”the menopause,” as though it’s a single fixed moment in time. Shoot, for some women, the period between the first hot flash and the actual end of your menstrual periods can be years. So, with the “good news” that your hot flashes may last for months on end until you actually are officially “menopausal,” what can you do […]
